What is this all about?

Please see the introductory article by clicking here.

Is it for me?

If you value your health, and you are serious about playing music (no need to be a professional for that), then yes, it is absolutely for you.

Way too many musicians suffer from pain and discomfort, and trust me, you don’t want to be one of them.

Will it work for me?

There is no miracle cure, but if you apply what you learn, and actually do the exercises (they take 5-10 minutes a day at most, maybe even less for prevention), then improvement is (almost) guaranteed.

What exact problems/symptoms does it solve?

The method is most successful with the following: repetitive strain injuries (RSI), tendonitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS), postural problems, and other muscle and joint pains. These are responsible for 95% of the problems that musicians experience.

However, since the method fundamentally improves the function and condition of the upper body, other dysfunctions and symptoms not listed here will respond positively to it as well.

Is this about guitar techniques?

No – there are already more than enough courses covering that. We don’t even touch the guitar. Instead, the guitarstrength course is about special movement exercises and other rehabilitative techniques. Guitar playing is only discussed briefly in the last module. For further info, consider reading this article.

I play on a different instrument (or not at all), will it still work?

Yes! The method is not ‘instrument-specific’, so it will work for musicians of all kinds, and even for office workers, carpenters, painters, and so on.

Do I need tools or devices to do the exercises?

Yes, but nothing major, and you will most likely already have them in your home. You will need a stick (a broomstick will do), a small ball, and a wide rubber band.

Why bother with prevention?

That’s a silly question. If you ever develop some sort of chronic pain, you will know why 🙂

Prevention is much easier than dealing with the pain, so do yourself a favor – your future self will thank you for it!

I want to buy this as a gift. What do I do?

No luck?
